Tracey is a warm and engaging mentor who brings a gentle and impactful honesty to every conversation. She brings loads of experience, so she understands the challenges we can face and how contributing with positivity, authenticity creates a lasting impact.

Tracey presented ‘Project You’ to our Dean’s Future Leaders cohort. Her message was a simple, but powerful one. Everybody has choices in how we choose to live and work and that we should strive to live and work how we want to be remembered, not based on what (we perceive) others think of us.
Two things stood out. The first was before Tracey even presented. Her preparation was meticulous. She really took the time to understand the cohort and the objectives of our Dean’s Future Leaders program. The second was how Tracey wove into the narrative learning from her upbringing in rural Victoria, her 30 plus years at Ernst & Young and her transition to ‘Tracey 2.0’. Tracey showed how the choices she had made in her life, could serve as an example of how our cohort might relate the ‘Project You’ contents to their lives. Tracey was extremely generous with her time in answering myriad questions about her time at Ernst & Young, both in the Q&A session and at lunch following the session. Many of these questions went beyond the ‘Project You’ contents.
I fully recommend Tracey. She is an incredibly engaging and generous presenter who will provoke discussion and leave participants reflecting on the choices they make going forward.

Tracey led an engaging and insightful workshop for the EY London Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) Manager and Senior Manager group, marking the grand finale of our first series of career development workshops. During this “Project You” session, Tracey explored the significance of understanding oneself, one’s motives, values, and beliefs as we look ahead to our own professional development. Her authentic experiences brought the “use cases” to life, making the session both relatable and inspiring.
One of the highlights of the workshop was the collaborative development aspect, which allowed us to seamlessly integrate the next stage of our career development journey. Focusing on “Project You” laid the foundation for exploring our own behaviours and drivers. This was instrumental in thinking about personal growth and ambitions, as well as in planning deliberately for building a personal network, be it internally or within our client network. The workshop provided us with the much-needed space to reflect on our personal needs and how our behaviours impact other aspects of our corporate (and personal) lives, particularly in building a network. The intention is to build on this successful workshop in the future.
Tracey did an exceptional job in highlighting the linkage between understanding oneself, building purpose, and living one’s values. Her ability as a personal storyteller had us laughing and challenging our thinking from moment to moment. Her global experience and authenticity reinforced the idea that we are in control of our own choices, and understanding these choices is fundamental. The session was not only motivating but also actionable. We all left the room with practical analogies and reflections. It made us think about how we align our engagement with our values and behaviours, emphasizing the human need for engagement.

We were so lucky to have Tracey come and present to a group of our high-potential senior managers on the power of building and maintaining connections in their day-to-day work through the delivery of her ‘Super Connectors’ program. Tracey provided a wealth of simple, actionable advice and tips for how our people can nurture and build relationships to become trusted advisors for existing clients, whilst also sharing her experience and suggestions for how this group could make an impact and forge relationships quickly with potential new clients in a pursuit setting. The session was high energy, fun and practical for the audience, and the feedback afterwards was overwhelmingly positive that participants had taken away a number of helpful tips and a bit of extra confidence and motivation to go and start investing in their connections.

Having spent many years hearing positive things about Tracey as an EY Partner and following her from afar, when seeing her venture to “Tracey 2.0” I knew that I had an opportunity to make a positive impact at a pivotal point of my career.
Tracey did not disappoint in any way. She has an exceptional talent to connect with people quickly that not many other people have.
With care and conviction she guided me through self discovery, and gently challenged me to challenge myself. Tracey also gave me a recap of each of our sessions which showed her insightful understanding of what she hears and tailored suggestions of books, podcasts, strategies and ideas that I continue to refer back to regularly.
After only a few short mentoring sessions I feel set up with fresh perspectives and new tools that I know will help me in my journey.
No matter where you are in life or career I highly recommend Tracey as a mentor.
Thank you, Tracey!

Tracey provided a guided exploration of career development, personal values and the connections which ultimately allow us to live our purpose. Throughout these conversations, Tracey skillfully interweaved the context of empathetic leadership with her authentic experience. Through our work together, I learned how empathetic leadership can not only unlock the next level of skill and career development but also how it can also be the linkage between work and my own purpose and values.
I’m grateful for the insights and skills I’ve gained through the mentoring relationship.

We had the privilege of Tracey Waring present to our group during International Women’s week.
Tracey’s 30+ years of global experience, professional and personal, was on full display with so many invaluable insights, succinctly shared in a very approachable and easy to understand manner. It was such a superb and appropriate fit for the audience, both in terms of technical content as well as sharing her life’s experiences with all of us. It was such a privilege having her inspire our team.

Tracey Waring’s recent presentation at our Viridian Financial Group Ltd International Women’s Day event was truly inspiring. Tracey’s insights on harnessing our inner power, overcoming imposter syndrome, and standing confidently in our values were not just motivational—they were actionable. I walked away with real strategies to shift my mindset, own my strengths, and show up authentically in every space I enter.
One quote that really resonated with me was: “How you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademark.”
This made me reflect on the impact I want to leave in every interaction. It was a powerful reminder that confidence isn’t just about how we feel—it’s about the presence we create for others. An incredible session that I’ll carry forward in both my professional and personal life!

I first met Tracey Waring as Deputy CFO and Executive Director Corporate Services at Monash University. From that very first interaction, I was struck by her professionalism, depth of expertise, and her ability to ask informed questions to gain in depth knowledge of the issue presented, and make even the most intricate concepts seem simple and accessible. When presenting, Tracey is able to simplify the issue and make the challenge interesting, she motivates the audience to be confident, understand the complexity and to not be afraid of it.
Over time, my respect and admiration for Tracey grew. Her warmth, approachability, intellect, breadth of knowledge and genuine care are qualities that set her apart.
I invited Tracey to speak to a group of female leaders as part of their development program, and she delivered an unforgettable presentation on authentic leadership. With honesty and vulnerability, she shared insights about the challenges of balancing work, family, and motherhood, and how embracing authenticity has been key to her personal and professional growth. Her message resonated deeply with everyone in the room. She didn’t just speak as a seasoned professional; she connected with us on a personal level as a peer. Having her daughter present during the talk only added to the authenticity and humanity of the experience.
Tracey’s incredible ability to connect, inspire, and simplify the complex makes her not only an extraordinary professional but also an extraordinary person. I am deeply grateful for her guidance, and the positive impact she continues to have on my life and the lives of others.

Over the years I have engaged with Tracey I have always been fascinated by the combination of her curiosity, enthusiasm and ability to translate complicated matters into logical and digestible components.
Adding to this is Tracey’s engaging and motivating presentation skills. She has addressed my team and larger groups at my organisation on numerous occasions, inspiring us all with her message, vision and authenticity. Her genuine approach adds a powerful depth to the delivery every time.
I can without doubt say that Tracey is one of the most trustworthy and considerate people that I have ever met in my professional career. She justifiably earned the respect of many executives at my organisation as we could always rely on her without fail!

Tracey has been instrumental in my career to date.
I first met Tracey back in 2012 as a disillusioned big 4 accountant. I was partaking in a mandatory training session around International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) updates and looking forward to catching up on a bit of sleep! Up steps Tracey onto the stage with an opening line of “I have just tweeted about #stripping and gone viral!” Quite an entrance! From that point on the whole room was engaged. I left that event not only with a deep understanding of deferred stripping (a mining concept) but a desire to work in the mining industry.
I came to another crossroads in my career in 2017. Time had come to move from Australia back to the U.K.. I decided that I would get on the plane with no job or clear career path. Tracey very kindly offered her time to provide advice but most importantly the honest feedback and challenge I needed to realise my decision of arriving home with no job was not the right one for me. Her passion to ensure I succeeded did not just end there. After realising my mistake, I asked her for help and within a week she had reached out to her contacts in the mining industry so that I could return home with a job and clarity as to where I wanted my career to go.
These are just some of my real life examples where Tracey’s incredible skillsets (engaging presentations and passion for other people’s success) have had a real impact on me and my career. I cannot recommend enough the use of her services and the impact she could have on your future !

I have had the honour and privilege of working with Tracey at EY over the past seven years. Tracey is undoubtedly the most genuine and authentic individual I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my professional career, which spans Australia, the UK, Singapore, and Indonesia. As one of the Global leaders for the mining and metals sector at EY, Tracey stood out for her unparalleled technical insights and understanding. Her ability to simplify complex accounting concepts and explain them to clients in a clear and concise manner is truly exceptional.
Moreover, Tracey consistently provides her honest perspective, which has helped her build deep relationships with her clients. In working with Tracey, I have witnessed her working under extreme pressure, delivering on time, and fostering an inclusive work environment. She is an incredible role model for female consultants, offering endless support and demonstrating through her actions how to balance being a Partner at a Big Four firm while raising children at home.
